Tyler Roberts sends Birmingham City bold message following linking up with Tom Brady coach

Birmingham City forward Tyler Roberts has already begun his pre-season training in the United States.

The 25-year-old has joined forces with Rob Brennan, one of two fitness trainers from Tom Brady’s TBRX brand who were stationed at the Blues’ training facility last season, to begin his preparation for the 2024/25 season.

Roberts is in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he works with Brennan. Roberts wrote on his Instagram stories, “Let’s work.” “Comeback is on.”

Last summer, the Wales international joined St Andrew’s on a four-year contract after leaving Leeds United. However, his debut season at Blues did not go as planned, with injuries limiting him to 19 appearances in all competitions.

Roberts made 50 Premier League games while at Leeds, but he now faces the threat of returning to League One, where he played on loan for Oxford United and Walsall in his teens.

After two injury-plagued seasons with Queens Park Rangers (where he spent 2022/23 on loan) and Blues, Roberts will be hoping to finish the season uninjured. With Brennan out in the states, the groundwork is being laid early.
