Browns express plenty of faith in Jerry Jeudy with a deal of up to $58 million

Last week, we learned that the Cleveland Browns have restructured WR Jerry Jeudy’s deal to clear $10 million in salary space.

Now they’ve gone a step further. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Browns have agreed to a three-year contract agreement with Jeudy worth up to $58 million.

The agreement demonstrates a high level of confidence in Jeudy’s abilities, and GM Andrew Berry believes that his statistical success thus far in his career has been hampered by bad quarterback play in Denver. Otherwise, it’s a lot of money for a receiver who produced nearly identical numbers to former Browns WR Donovan Peoples-Jones from 2021 to 2022.

With the three-year agreement, Jeudy is under contract with the Browns for four seasons (until 2027), with $41 million guaranteed throughout that time. It was also critical for Cleveland to retain one of their top three receivers after the 2024 season. Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore, both acquired through trades, are in the final year of their contracts.
