Yankees In Need Of Hitters

The New York Yankees are obviously in need of left-handed hitters for their outfield this offseason.

MLB insider Jon Morosi claims that one name they have been associated with that fits this description is prominent Korean slugger Jung-Hoo Lee.

The San Francisco Giants and the Yankees are reportedly interested in Lee. The KBO is anticipated to post Lee in the next few days. This information was reported by Morosi.

General manager Brian Cashman stated that the Yankees are looking to add multiple players to the outfield, where Lee, 25, and his lefty bat would fit in perfectly.

As an outfielder, Lee slashed.340/.407/.491 in seven KBO seasons (884 games) and won five Gold Glove Awards. In addition, he was named Rookie of the Year in 2017 and KBO MVP in 2022.

The left-handed hitting outfielders Lee and Cody Bellinger have also been connected to the Yankees.
