Yankees’ ideal centerfielder is affordable and athletic

Centerfield is one of the crucial spots the New York Yankees must address this offseason.

Due to Tommy John surgery, Jasson Dominguez will miss the most of the 2024 season, with his earliest return scheduled for July.

However, the Yankees do not want to rely on Dominguez, who has only eight games of MLB experience, to return and instantly step into the batting order. The Yankees might seek for a cheap and athletic candidate to cover the position for a year if they have the luxury of allowing Dominguez time in the minor levels to go back to his usual self.
