WR Star for the Colts Joins Elite NFL Club

The Indianapolis Colts’ season hasn’t gone as well as they had planned.

It goes without saying that Anthony Richardson’s injury so early in the season affected their goals.

However, the Colts are still in the running for a postseason place, and Shane Steichen has led the team admirably in his first season in charge.

Although it hasn’t always been easy, standout wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and backup quarterback Gardner Minshew appear to have a great rapport.

The last three wide receivers to accomplish that in a season—Michael Thomas, Julio Jones, and Cooper Kupp—were all selected to the first team All-Pro in that same season, as noted by NFL GameDay. Pittman has ten games this season with at least eight receptions.

This will undoubtedly be harder said than done this time around because Tyreek Hill and A.J. Brown are heavy favorites to win the title, but Pittman has still had a strong campaign.

The fact that the Colts have mostly missed Jonathan Taylor adds to the impressiveness of their offensive performance.

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans both lost last week, so winning the division is still up for grabs. Although it will be difficult, they have shown that, at their best, they can score points against any team, and Pittman’s breakout season has certainly contributed to that.

Let’s see if he can finish the season strong.
