What sets Red Bull apart from the entire Formula One grid

It’s clear which one quality has contributed to Red Bull’s outstanding season.

Red Bull has won 19 of the 20 Formula One Grands Prix so far in 2023, with champion Max Verstappen accounting for 17 of those victories.

Red Bull’s RB19 is the benchmark that all teams want to achieve by 2024, but there’s a simpler element that contributes to the brand’s effectiveness.

Tom Clarkson stated on the F1 Nation podcast, “I think, in a nutshell, what we’ve seen from Mercedes actually explains the difference between Red Bull and the entire grid.”

“I don’t think that Red Bull has ever been significantly ahead of the competition, maybe at Suzuka.

Simply put, they’ve been more reliable.

“That while everyone else has fluctuated like a yo-yo, RB19 has performed at every racetrack.”

Over the last two seasons, Mercedes has experienced significant difficulties; Toto Wolff called the Sao Paulo Grand Prix this past weekend the “worst weekend in 13 years.”

Mercedes has tried to introduce a more competitive 2024 automobile by making internal adjustments to key staff.

The Formula 3 champion Gabriel Bortoletto described Lewis Hamilton as a legend. He’s demonstrated this. There is no denying his capabilities.

He’s in a phase that he finds unappealing. Mercedes is having trouble reclaiming its vehicle.

However, that’s how Formula 1 operates. Mercedes used to rule the championship, but they are currently having issues, and Red Bull is in the lead.

Nothing is insurmountable.

“What McLaren accomplished in getting near Red Bull is evident. Why is Mercedes not able to do it too?
