West Ham shock as star does U-turn on negotiations to join Hammers

Wilfried Zaha has decided not to join West Ham United this summer and will instead remain at Galatasaray.

Galatasaray bought Zaha from Crystal Palace last summer, but he had a dismal season, scoring only 10 goals in 42 games.

He lost his place in the starting eleven near the conclusion of the season, and there is conjecture that the winger wants to go on.

West Ham were in negotiations with the player about returning to the Premier League this season, where he earned his name at Crystal Palace.

However, according to Turkish daily Sabah, talks between Zaha and West Ham have been called off after the player’s change of heart.

The winger has reversed his decision to join West Ham and no longer wants to leave Galatasaray.

Zaha decided to end talks with West Ham and is currently planning to stay with the Turkish club.

The 31-year-old intends to begin pre-season training with the Turkish giants next month, when the group is set to reassemble.

Galatasaray won the Turkish Super Lig this season, and Zaha will get the opportunity to compete in the Champions League next season.

The Istanbul team finished with an amazing 102 points after 38 league games.
