West Ham plan to surprise Real Madrid with a raid in search of an attacker who is willing to depart

A unhappy Real Madrid forward with a lot to prove is being closely watched by West Ham, and according to a rumor, the player would welcome an exit.

A few of Europe’s top players have been raided by clubs lower down the ladder thanks to the Premier League’s financial might and prestige.

Edson Alvarez and Mohammed Kudus were two notable players that the Hammers twice lured away from Ajax over the summer. Another shining example of the EPL’s might was the £51 million acquisition of Lucas Paqueta, Lyon’s greatest player, in the summer of 2022.

Now, a Spanish report (quoted by Goal) claims that West Ham’s next target is Real Madrid.

Brahim Diaz’s situation, a versatile attacker, is allegedly being attentively watched by the Hammers.

Diaz, 24, moved from Manchester City to Real Madrid in 2019, but he first gained notoriety while spending three productive seasons on loan at AC Milan.

In the 2021/22 season, Diaz was a regular for the Rossoneri and assisted in the team’s first Serie A championship since 2011.

The Spanish player, who primarily plays in an attacking midfield position identical to Paqueta’s, recently returned to parent club Real.

He has only been given one start this season across all competitions at the Bernabeu, where opportunities are incredibly scarce.

Diaz is allegedly considering leaving the Spanish city to seek his fortune elsewhere, according to the article.

His desire to create an impression with Spain on the international stage, which he’ll only have the opportunity to do by playing frequently, whether that be at Real or elsewhere, has been a major factor in his change of heart.
