West Ham Fight Forest for French Defender

According to L’Équipe, West Ham United and Nottingham Forest are interested in Le Havre AC’s Étienne Youté Kinkoué.

It appears that every time West Ham is associated with a player, they are either competing with Forest for his services or attempting to acquire one of their players.

Le Havre urgently needs to sell players to raise finances this summer. Youté Kinkoué is one player who looks increasingly likely to go. In January 2023, the former France youth international joined Le Havre, who were then playing in Ligue 2.

He arrived from Olympiacos, which is owned by Nottingham Forest’s owners. As a result, the Premier League team is familiar with Youté Kinkoué and could make an offer to capture him this summer. However, they may face competition from West Ham, who are looking for defensive reinforcements.

West Ham are actively attempting to trade captain Kurt Zouma while reluctantly recognizing Nayef Aguerd’s desire to leave the club.
