Wayne Rooney provides personalized fitness plans to Birmingham City players

In an attempt to break Birmingham City’s losing streak of four games in a row, Wayne Rooney gives each player a personalized fitness plan. However, he decides against the team reporting for full training during the international break.

Although he has not ordered his Birmingham teammates to report for full training this week, Wayne Rooney has given them individual fitness regimens.

In their first five games under Rooney, Blues have lost four and drawn one; the most recent setback came on November 11 when they went down 3-1 at Sunderland.

Since taking over for John Eustace, who was fired on October 9 after leading the team to sixth place in the Championship, Rooney has tried to change the way Blues play. After the international break, Blues, who are currently ranked 18th, will visit Sheffield Wednesday, the bottom team.

Since assuming leadership, the former England captain has lamented his team’s lack of fitness, despite the fact that they have been practicing at a high level under his direction.

Mail Sport has learned that most of the Blues will be working according to their individual schedules during the first week of the international break, rather than being needed at the training ground.

These programs will focus on injury prevention in addition to increasing fitness, and players who have sustained injuries will continue their rehabilitation on the field.

This is in line with the strategy of a number of Championship clubs, who view this interval as an opportunity to catch their breath before a straight four months leading up to the next international window.
