The Birmingham City manager Wayne Rooney is now in charge of the team.

During the club’s 1-1 draw with Swansea City, Dembele scored his first goal as a starter in the first three Championship games of the season.

He was part of the team that defeated Bristol City and Leeds, although he was forced to miss four games due to an injury.

After making a comeback against QPR in September, he has been gradually regaining his physical fitness. After scoring twice in the 4-1 victory over Huddersfield Town earlier this month, Dembele’s influence on the club has diminished.

He is averaging 1.4 shots and 2.7 dribbles per game so far this season, which is where Dembele excels. According to a source, he has a 79.7% pass competition rate, with 1.1 of his passes being regarded as crucial ones.

Despite starting each of the three games under Rooney, he has not yet returned to his preseason level of play.
