Unsurprisingly, Lions supporters anticipated a smooth trip for the NFC title

All season long, the Detroit Lions and their supporters have been road warriors.

The Lions are anticipated to have a sizable fan base for the NFC title game in The Bay, despite the fact that the San Francisco 49ers packed their stands against the well-traveled Green Bay Packers last weekend.

In an email, Vivid Seats reports that come Sunday afternoon in San Francisco, Lions fans are predicted to toy with seizing over 18% of Levi’s Stadium. The ticket company reports that since the start of the year, prices for Lions games have climbed by 353%, from $287 to $1,301. Prices have also increased in tandem with the continuous growth in demand.

The Lions had the highest average sold ticket price of $291 this season, according to Vivid Seats, despite playing amid three perennial contenders: the San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens, and Kansas City Chiefs- Kansas City.

For this weekend’s conference championship game, the agency is now anticipating an 82% (49ers) to 18% (Lions) split, and that is not insignificant. Since 2011, the 49ers vs. Eagles game from the previous season has had the highest average sales price among NFC title game tickets; the Lions vs. 49ers matchup is the second most popular.

Additionally, tickets for the Lions-49ers game are 43% more expensive than those for the AFC’s Chiefs and Ravens game against the NFC.

Nobody should be surprised by this. Every home game this season has been sold out, and the Lions have routinely surpassed rival stadiums and cities—just ask Kansas City, New Orleans, and Green Bay.

Throughout the postseason, they have been among the most popular tickets and have had incredible television and streaming numbers. And once more at Ford Field? They have set a number of jaw-dropping stadium records back-to-back in recent weeks.
