On this occasion, the West Alabama native startled the hosts of “The Dive Bar” podcast by recounting his reaction to losing the wild card round game of the previous playoffs to his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Hill’s locker room explosion
Tyreek Hill joined the Dolphins in 2023 after departing the Chiefs for a higher deal. As fate would have it, Miami met Kansas City twice that year, both times with negative outcomes for Hill and his new teammates.
The first was a 21-14 loss in Frankfurt, Germany, during Week 9. The second was much more heartbreaking, particularly for Hill, when the Dolphins were eliminated from the playoffs following a 26-7 loss at Arrowhead Stadium.
Hill was honest in revealing that the defeat did not go well for him. “I’m passionate about it. I want to win. I was born a winner. I’ve always been a winner. “I hate losing,” the receiver admitted.
Furthermore, the Arrowhead furniture was about to suffer the consequences of his frustration. “When we lost to the Chiefs, bruh, I wanted to punch my f*cking locker 100 times. F**k that sh*t, bruh. I was pissed. F*ck it. “I want to win,” Hill explained.

The 2024 Season
Tyreek Hill was fortunate to avoid seeing the Chiefs during the regular season.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ squad is striving for an unprecedented three-peat, and it has already addressed the offensive void left by Hill’s surprise exit. The addition of rookie Xavier Worthy gives the Chiefs’ receiving corps the depth it lacked last season, making them even more dangerous.
The Dolphins, for their part, will strive to advance in the 2017 playoffs after falling in the wild card round the previous two seasons. If they do, Hill may have a chance to make up for last year’s two losses.
