Town Star Pleads Not Guilty to Driving Offences

Brandon Williams, a Blues loanee, rejected accusations of reckless driving and driving without insurance in Chester Crown Court this morning.

The 23-year-old spoke simply to confirm his name and plead not guilty to the two charges before being released on unconditional bail.

The Manchester United full-back will appear in court on March 17, 2025, and the hearing is likely to take three days.

Williams, who is still on loan at Town but has been back at Old Trafford since shortly after Christmas and now appears unlikely to return to Portman Road before the end of the season, is accused of dangerous driving in his Audi S Line on the A34 Wilmslow bypass on August 20th, four days before joining the Blues.

Furthermore, Williams, who provided his parents’ address in court as Harpurhey, Greater Manchester, is charged with driving without insurance on the same road on August 2, 2023.
