Town defender not leaving

Full-back Brandon Williams is still on loan at Town and is poised to return after being assessed at Manchester United after missing time due to illness and injury before Christmas.

Williams returned to Old Trafford earlier this month, although his loan remained active.

Last week, manager Kieran McKenna stated that the problem of Williams’ return will be resolved before the transfer window closed at 11 p.m. today.

“That will be a discussion and a decision to be made before the window closes next week,” he told reporters.

Williams, 23, will now return to the Town squad and will be a Blues player for the remainder of the season.
