Town Academy players join non-league Suffolk teams and the number of players on loan
|Finlay Corrigan and Ben Haddoch, two graduates of the Town academy, have signed one-month initial loans to play for non-league Suffolk teams, Leiston and Stowmarket Town, respectively.
Corrigan, a forward, joins Leiston, a team that plays in the Southern League Premier Division Central. He becomes friends with Jack Manly, another academy young player who is currently on loan at Victory Road.
He made seven appearances for the Tudors during his first seven games of the season while on loan at Hemel Hempstead Town in National League South.
Due to a soggy pitch, their afternoon match at Alvechurch has been postponed, meaning the 16-year-old will have to wait to make his debut.
Three former Town players are in Darren Eadie’s squad: winger Ross Crane, and defenders Albie Armin and Chris Casement.
Haddoch, a midfielder, has joined Stowmarket Town, a Suffolk team that is currently bottom of the Isthmian League North Division.
If the weather holds out, he is qualified to play for the Old Gold & Blacks today against Ipswich Wanderers, where he can also play as a right-back.
After going on trial with the Blues last summer, the 18-year-old signed a professional contract with the team after leaving Bury Town.
