Tom Brady predicts if Kansas City Chiefs will win third consecutive Super Bowl

The Kansas City Chiefs have one goal in mind for the 2024 season: win the three-peat.

Coming off a successful year, the franchise has done everything possible to keep its primary talents on the team while also adding reinforcements, primarily offensively, to give the passing game a fresh face.

This season brings a great deal of pressure. Kansas City has the opportunity to make NFL history, cement its dynasty, and move Patrick Mahomes closer to being named the best quarterback of all time.

All this in the midst of a demanding schedule.

Tom Brady has an opinion on the Chiefs

In an exclusive interview on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” this past Monday, Tom Brady was asked how it works to go to a camp right after winning a championship and if there was a “Super Bowl Hangover”.

The former quarterback understandably incorporated the Chiefs’ momentum into his answer.

“Even when you consider how the Chiefs won the Super Bowl last year against the 49ers, it was a remarkable comeback, so to speak. “They played extremely well at the end, and the margin of error was razor-thin,” remarked.

Brady then reflected on the best team he had ever played on, the New England Patriots, and their 2007 defeat to the New York Giants.

“That’s how it will be this year as well. It’s really rare. I was on an unbeaten team. In 2007, I believe we were one of the best football teams ever. We went to the Super Bowl, and we didn’t play our greatest game. The Giants played a great game and beat us. All of these NFL clubs are very competitive and well-coached. The margin for error is razor thin.

NFL GOAT analyses chance of KC winning third title in a row

TB12 has always been a brilliant mind – his game readings are unrivalled.

While he has no doubts in Baby GOAT and his team’s abilities, he appears to be afraid about a third consecutive title.

“So, winning a Super Bowl is extremely difficult.” In the history of the sport, winning two consecutive games is practically impossible. There’s a reason no one has won three in a row.

“To put three of those together, in back-to-back-to-back seasons, with drafting last, a very hard schedule, all of the turnover in free agency and guys continuing to be motivated, it’s a big challenge,” Brady said.

FOX’s new commentator understands why everyone is putting the Chiefs at the top of their list, but he believes the chances of winning a third title are fewer than 50 percent.

“That doesn’t mean the Chiefs couldn’t do it. Believe me, they would undoubtedly be considered one of the odds-on favorites to pull it off. Even so, there isn’t a 50 percent likelihood of it happening. They are far less than that. Those players will show up every day, and they will have to put up the same effort as before.”

Brady appreciates the importance of Andy Reid’s role in this journey

Although Brady is wary of KC’s 2024, he loves Andy Reid’s expertise and is confident that the head coach will not make things easy for his opponents.

“They have a tremendous coach in Andy Reid, who doesn’t ever look backward,” stated. “He’s not going to say, ‘Hey, because we were great last year, we’re going to be great again this year.’ He’s a veteran, experienced, championship-level coach who holds those guys accountable.”

The GOAT concluded his study by applauding the Chiefs’ players and coaches for keeping the franchise among the elite of NFL teams.

“They have a tremendous quarterback in Patrick, who, as we all know, is as good a football player as any in the NFL. Travis Kelce’s abilities at tight end make him an excellent safety blanket. Rashee Rice came in as a rookie. [They have] Chris Jones [back]. They’ve got [Steve] Spagnuolo back as the defensive coordinator.”

Tom Brady’s voice carries a lot of weight, but Reid’s team is focused on cementing their dynasty in the sport’s history.
