Titans finished interview with Giants OC Mike Kafka for the position of head coach

The Titans have finished their second head coaching interview.

On Friday, Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka concluded a virtual interview with the team.

Kafka joined Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs staff as a quality control coach in 2017 after serving as a graduate assistant at Northwestern for one season.

In 2018, Kafka was promoted to Chiefs quarterbacks coach, a position he held until 2021. In 2020-21, Kafka was quarterbacks coach/pass game coordinator for the Chiefs, where he worked with quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Kafka, a fourth-round choice of the Eagles out of Northwestern in the 2010 NFL Draft, will join Brian Daboll’s staff with the New York Giants as offensive coordinator in 2022.

The Titans interviewed Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan for the role earlier on Friday.

In-person interviews are not permitted until January 22, however Zoom interviews can take place before then.
