Three 2024 NFL Combine winners who meet the Arizona Cardinals’ needs.

With the Arizona Cardinals holding the fourth overall pick and the majority of the players who would be competing for that pick not testing, this week became even more intriguing.

We discussed trading out of four and adding another premium pick this year and next.

This would allow the Cardinals to choose 2024 NFL Combine winners such as:

However, the true victors were those who demonstrated their worth on day one or early day two, and the Cardinals have two picks who meet that criteria, as well as three individuals who stood out.

Troy Fautanu, OL – Washington: Fautanu is slightly shorter than expected, but he has longer arms and performed exceptionally well in all parts of the combine.

He appears to be a tackler, but if he is forced to kick inside to guard, he appears to be capable of doing so. His athleticism, length, and aggressive play style might make him a valuable acquisition at 27.

Brian Thomas JR., WR – LSU: Thomas Jr. was well-known for his size, measuring 6-3 and weighing 209 pounds. It was his incredible athleticism, running a 4.33, leaping well, and general smoothness that would qualify him as a huge “X” receiver in the NFL.
Braden Fiske, DT at FSU, was the first freak of the weekend.

He weighed 6-4 292 pounds and ran a fast 4.78 forty, but his 4.37 short shuttle and 33.5″ vertical leap were even more astounding. He might be an excellent fit for the Cardinals’ first pick in round two, or if they add another second-round pick in a trade back.
