Three concerning official injury updates are released by West Ham ahead of their match against Burnley

Before Burnley, West Ham released an extremely concerning official injury report on the trio of Mohammed Kudus, Michail Antonio, and Jarrod Bowen.

Sometimes I think this ancient game is hilarious.

After escaping any incidents or injuries over the first two international breaks of the season wit rehlative ease, West Ham has suffered greatly during the third and final one of the year.

Mohammed Kudus, Jarrod Bowen, and Michail Antonio have all sustained injuries.

On Saturday, the Hammers go to Turf Moor to play Burnley, a team that hasn’t always been a happy hunting ground.

West Ham’s worrying injury update on trio

With Burnley at the bottom of the Premier League and West Ham again on the verge of European berths, David Moyes would undoubtedly be hoping to reverse that.

However, as is always the case with West Ham, things are not quite that simple.

The West Ham supporters have been eagerly anticipating formal updates regarding Bowen, Antonio, and Kudus.

This week, the club’s most reliable source expressed reservations about all three.

When Kudus entered the game as a second-half substitute in a loss to Comoros, there was a glimmer of hope, as he had missed Ghana’s training due to a back ailment.

Kudus hope replaced by concern

That gave Hammers fans hope that Kudus might be ready for this weekend’s match against Burnley.

Since then, it has come to light that West Ham’s requests to Ghana not to choose Kudus—who has been playing with back pain for some time—were ignored.

The Hammers’ management is likewise not thrilled with Gareth Southgate’s handling of Bowen.

Ahead of Burnley, West Ham has released an extremely concerning official injury update regarding the trio of Bowen, Antonio, and Kudus.

‘The club will assess’

West Ham said in the official match preview that they are worried about all three players, including Kudus, and that they will be evaluating them now that they are back at Rush Green.

According to the official website, “Jarrod Bowen, Michail Antonio, and Mohammed Kudus missed matches for their respective countries on international duty due to injuries.”

“After their return to West Ham, the team will evaluate each player’s injuries.”

Due to knee problems, Antonio and Bowen will most likely not play against Burnley.

Concerns on Kudus’ lengthy journey return to London due to his back problem were expressed by Hammers News.

For our £38 million star youngster, we can only hope for some positive news. God knows we’ll need him for that.
