The Player Topping The Way Throughout November

Despite our four losses this month, midfielder Sander Berge has had a fantastic month with the Clarets.

In the game against West Ham, he was named player of the match and also received man of the match ratings.

The man of the match voting was closely contested; he received 36% of the vote, narrowly defeating Luca Koleosho’s 33%. Jordan Beyer secured the third position with 9% of the vote, while Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson secured the fourth position with 7%.

In the player ratings, three of those four players also ranked in the top four. With a rating of 7.78 out of 10, Berge triumphed once more, followed closely by Koleosho in second place with a rating of 7.42. With a score of 6.85, Guðmundsson came in third, closely followed by Zeki Amdouni, who scored 6.84, to take fourth place.

With Koleosho taking home six points, Berge now has ten points toward the Up the Clarets Player of the Year award. Beyer receives two points, Amdouni receives one, and Guðmundsson receives three.

Berge, who earned 38 points out of a possible 40 to easily win our player of the month award for November, has had an incredible month. He becomes the third monthly winner, after Lyle Foster (in August and October) and Koleosho (in September).

Additionally, he has risen to the top of the player of the year standings. With 59 points, he is 10 points ahead of Foster, and Koleosho is currently only five points behind. Beyer has surpassed Charlie Taylor into fourth position with his two points.

The West Ham result is below, followed by the November Player of the Month result and the current player of the year chart and the next voting will be underway following Saturday’s game against Sheffield United.
