The peculiar explanation for the star’s absence from Burnley’s trip to Arsenal the following week

Vincent Kompany has disclosed that Burnley’s goalkeeper Arijanet Muric will be out of the lineup against Arsenal the following week.

It is anticipated that the goalie would be added to the Kosovan team for their rescheduled Euro 2024 qualifying match against Israel.

The match, which was forced to be rescheduled because of the worsening situation in Palestine, will now happen on Sunday, November 12, the day following Burnley’s visitation to the Emirates Stadium.

Before the team’s home match against Crystal Palace this afternoon, Kompany discussed how the international breaks are affecting the season.

He remarked, “There have been numerous international breakdowns.

We’ve grown accustomed to it over the past 12 months, whether it’s three or four breaks leading up to the New Year or a winter World Cup.

“We have an issue that is obviously much larger in scope, but Aro Muric isn’t available for our match against Arsenal because the Israel vs. Kosovo match is scheduled a few days later.

The international break right now seems to have a significant impact on how you finish your season, but I can appreciate the larger picture of why that game is being repeated and we need to find a time.

Muric may not have started the match in any case because he has been James Trafford’s backup in the league this year.

The 24-year-old did, however, play well in the Carabao Cup, even if Burnley lost badly—3-0.
