In the 2024 NFL Draft, the star of the Ohio State Buckeyes is thought to be too talented for this squad.
Marvin Harrison Jr. arrived on campus as a four-star recruit out of high school, drawing NFL parallels to Kenny Golladay as a future projected Day 3 choice. After only a few years, the outgoing Buckeyes’ star is one of the most sought-after athletes in the 2024 NFL Draft.

While Caleb Williams and Drake Maye are regarded as the top two draft prospects in 2024, not every team requires a quarterback. However, every NFL team is seeking for offensive weapons, and the league believes Harrison Jr. has the potential to become a perennial All-Pro pick.

The 6-foot-3 wideout shown early promise at Ohio State, but he saw minimal playing time as a freshman. Harrison Jr. broke out as a sophomore with 1,263 receiving yards and four touchdowns after garnering 139 receiving yards and three scores in 2021.
In 2022, he was awarded a unanimous All-American and was a nominee for the Biletnikoff Award. While he didn’t win the national title as a sophomore, he did in 2023 with another outstanding season. As he likely moves on to the next level, one organization is said to be ready to accept him.
When will Marvin Harrison Jr be drafted?
According to Pro Football Network’s Adam Caplan, Harrison Jr. will not be passed up by the Arizona Cardinals if he is available in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Arizona presently has the second overall pick, one spot ahead of the Chicago Bears. With Chicago seemingly set on one quarterback, the Cardinals would be in an excellent position to select Harrison Jr. at No. 2 overall.
Even if the Arizona Cardinals fall behind clubs like the New England Patriots and the Washington Commanders, both teams require quarterbacks and offensive tackles. This means that no matter where the Cardinals finish in the top four, they will be able to select Harrison Jr. and pair him with Kyler Murray for years to come. The Cardinals’ offense would take off in 2024 with Murray at the helm and Harrison Jr. as his primary pass-catcher.
