The National 3-round mock pick provides the Browns with two attacking weapons

The NFL Combine begins this week, and this Browns mock draft focuses on the team’s needs on one side of the ball.

The NFL Combine begins in Indianapolis, with the NFL draft still a few months away. That means we have two months worth of NFL mock drafts to look forward to.

Mock drafts, especially thus early on, are about getting to know players’ identities, the probable setup of a team’s draft, and possibly some trade ideas.

Later in the process, mock drafters with inside information begin to focus on what they anticipate will happen. With betting now involving the draft, less information will be revealed this year.

The Cleveland Browns have eight draft picks, although the first comes in the middle of the second round.

Fortunately, more and more national sites are including more than just the first round in their mock drafts, so we have enough to discuss.

Prior to the Combine, the 33rd Team conducted a three-round draft. Many Browns fans will be satisfied with the results:

We’ve discussed Worthy as a speedster in the mold of Travis Benjamin who might open up the offense, while Benson is an ideal three-down back who can keep Nick Chubb healthy over time.

The main question is if Cleveland can address their defensive deficiencies later in the draft or if they will be filled in free agency.
