The Chiefs have declared Kadarius Toney’s status for the Dolphins game

The defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will face the Miami Dolphins on Saturday at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, with the Buffalo Bills putting Tua Tagovailoa and company into the sixth spot in the AFC after capturing the AFC East division title in Week 18.

Even though the Dolphins have been a dominant football club all season, Mike McDaniel’s team will face the Chiefs as the underdog in their playoff clash.

Normally, this would be a classic clash between two high-powered offenses, with Miami lighting up the scoreboard on a weekly basis and Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes doing his thing.

However, the Dolphins will enter this game with the offensive edge, as the Chiefs are no longer the dominant force on offense, especially with the team battling with some ailments on that side of the ball.

Wide receivers Kadarius Toney (hip/ankle) and Justyn Ross (hamstring) are listed as questionable on the team’s Twitter account, while offensive tackle Wanya Morris has been ruled out with a concussion.

With Toney and Ross possibly missing this game or playing through injuries, the Chiefs will rely on Rashee Rice and Justin Watson to assist shoulder the load at wide receiver.

It’ll be intriguing to watch if the Chiefs’ offense can get going against the Dolphins, and if Miami can hold off Mahomes and company despite being ravaged by injuries on the defensive side of the ball recently.
