The Cardinals haven’t suffered a loss to the Browns in a while

This weekend, the Arizona Cardinals take on the Cleveland Browns in a bid to make it more than 20 years since they last lost to them.

It’s been a while since the Browns defeated the Cardinals, despite having a commanding lead in their all-time matchup.

Twenty years have gone by.

The Cardinals lost to the Browns in 2003. The starting quarterback for the Browns, Kelly Holcomb, faced the Cardinals’ Jeff Blake.

While Blake and Josh McCown combined for no touchdown passes and three interceptions, Holcomb threw three touchdown passes in that game, leading to a 44-6 victory.

The Cardinals have won the previous five encounters, including the previous two in Cleveland, since that time.

Since 1950, the Browns have won 33-16-3 in the series. The first 12 meetings were won by the Browns.
