Suns’ Devin Booker receives last injury report v. Thunder

Devin Booker will be out of action on Sunday due to an ankle ailment.

The Phoenix Suns will be missing one of their key players for a crucial game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. Suns guard Devin Booker is out for the game, according to ClutchPoints. Booker is battling with a right ankle strain.

Booker has been dealing with injuries for much of the season, and the Suns are undoubtedly disappointed that he will be unable to play. The guard averages 27.5 points per game and shoots over 50 percent from the field. He joins a litany of other players on the team’s Sunday injury report, which includes Nassir Little.

The Suns are 35-25 entering Sunday’s game. The team will have to rely on Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and others to fill Booker’s role. Booker had just developed a terrific rhythm for the club, scoring at least 20 points in seven consecutive games. Booker has also scored more than 30 points three times since February 10 for the Suns.

Phoenix is now sixth in the Western Conference, with only a few games separating them from the other four clubs. The Phoenix Suns suffered a difficult loss against the Houston Rockets on Saturday. Booker injured his ankle during that game and did not return after getting his feet caught with one of his teammates. Phoenix certainly hopes the guard will be able to return to the floor soon.

The Suns and Thunder will face off on Sunday at 9:30 Eastern. The Thunder are 41-18 entering the game and are second in the Western Conference.
