Despite the change in kick-off time, the match will still take place on Monday, April 1.

Saints issued a statement stating, “Ticket information for the trip to Portman Road will follow in due course.”

Ipswich are now third in the league rankings, one position ahead of Southampton with a five-point lead going into the final 12 games.

Leeds United lead the Tractor Boys on goal differential, while Leicester City sit 11 points ahead of Russell Martin’s side.

Ipswich defeated Saints 1-0 at St Mary’s earlier this season, thanks to a goal from Omari Hutchinson.

Martin must take his team to each of the top three before the season ends, with the trip to Elland Road coming on the last day of the season.
