Soto’s blast a finishing point in twin-bill victory

When Juan Soto joined the Yankees in the winter and transferred to the American League, things changed dramatically.

New city. A new ballpark. New teammates. And it meant he’d be making his first trip to Progressive Field.

After going 0-for-4 with a walk in the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader, Soto added another milestone to his MLB resume with a three-run home run in the second game, propelling the Yankees to an 8-2 victory and completing the doubleheader sweep.

The Yankees won the first game, 3-2.
