Should the Browns make a trade to acquire Dalvin Cook, a running back?

Given the offensive setbacks the Browns have recently experienced, it is obvious that the run game will need to be the cornerstone moving forward.

Although both Jerome Ford and Kareem Hunt have performed well in the two victories following the bye week, both players are recovering from injuries, and general manager Andrew Berry is constantly monitoring possible trades.

Would the Browns consider adding Dalvin Cook of the Jets to their depth chart of running backs?

Cook was released during the offseason from Minnesota following six seasons and four trips to the Pro Bowl. Cook signed a one-year contract with the New York Jets a few months later, but his offensive production has declined.

Cook has gained 109 yards on 39 carries through six games (2.8 per carry). Breece Hall has been the team’s RB1 instead.
