Should Emery Release the Aston Villa midfielder who is attracting Spanish interest?

Youri Tielemans, a midfielder for Aston Villa, is attracting interest from Spain, according to a recent report by Fichajes. According to rumors, he could be transferred from the Villans to Atletico Madrid or Real Sociedad during the January transfer window.

The Angst of Tielemans During Villa Park

Tielemans’ time at the West Midlands club has been frustrating as a result of his inability to maintain a spot in Unai Emery’s team. He lately lost the manager of Aston Villa’s favor.

The talented Belgian player has appeared in 13 games for the Villans this season, but he has yet to score or provide an assist in any competition. He has started every game he has played in the league from the bench since Emery prefers Douglas Luiz and Boubacar Kamara above him.

At Villa Park, Tielemans has a contract that will expire in the summer of 2027. He now has a hazy future at the Midlands club, though.

Should Unai Emery, the manager of Aston Villa, let Tielemans go?

Tielemans has the vision to generate a few attractive chances in the final third and the ability to strike the ball with venom from long range. He has outstanding ball control and typically puts in a lot of effort for his team on the defensive end of the field. Tielemans is primarily a box-to-box midfielder, although if instructed to do so by his manager, he can also play as a defensive midfielder or as the number 10.

The Belgian international, though, has not had good luck at Villa Park. As a result, it makes sense for the player and the West Midlands club to part ways in January.

Tielemans might gain from moving to Spain, and Aston Villa can utilize the proceeds from his likely sale to hire a quality successor this winter.

When the transfer window opens at the beginning of January, Emery should concentrate on releasing Tielemans. The Villans should surely allow him to leave during the winter transfer market since they just cannot afford to keep him at the team.
