Seattle Seahawks in for another wide receiver

Seattle appears to be looking for another receiver, having invited Robbie Chosen to minicamp on a tryout basis and now apparently entertaining UFL receiver Ty Scott.

The Seattle Seahawks are in their final week of the offseason program before taking a several-week break until training camp begins in late July. However, now that summer has arrived and it is almost time for summer break, the front office and coaching staff appear to be focused on potential wide receiver signings.

On Monday, reports surfaced that the Hawks had invited wide receiver Robbie Chosen to a required minicamp on a tryout basis, and on Tuesday, Christian Paolantonio of ProFootballNewsroom stated that the Seahawks were testing the waters with a UFL standout.

As mentioned in the essay, Ty Scott concluded the 2024 UFL season with 25 receptions for 418 yards and three touchdowns in nine games for the D.C. Defenders. Scott signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent before being released a few weeks later. The Chiefs then signed him back for training camp, but he was released during August’s final roster cuts. After transferring from Central Michigan, he caught 114 receptions for 1,784 yards and 13 touchdowns during two seasons at Missouri State.
