Seahawks have signed a running back to their practice squad

On Wednesday, the Seahawks added rookie running back SaRodorick Thompson to the practice squad.

The Seahawks reinstated rookie running back SaRodorick Thompson to the practice squad on Wednesday, bringing him back after he spent training camp in Seattle and began the season on the practice squad before being released in October.

With quarterback Brett Rypien joining to the Jets 53-man roster on Tuesday, the Seahawks have an open position on the practice squad.

Thompson, an undrafted free agent out of Texas Tech, carried for 81 yards and two touchdowns on 21 rushes in the preseason before making his NFL debut in Week 8 after being promoted from the practice squad, playing two snaps in a win over the Cardinals.
