Seahawks Disclose 3 Roster Moves For Week 11

On Saturday, the Seattle Seahawks declared that they had waived OT Jake Curhan and added OT Jason Peters to their active roster.

S Ty Okada was also added by the Seahawks to the active roster.

The 41-year-old Peters first joined the Bills in 2004 as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas. Before being dealt to the Eagles in 2009, he played for Buffalo for five years.

Following the trade, Peters agreed to a $53 million, four-year extension with Philadelphia. For the 2019 season, Peters inked a new one-year contract worth $6 million.

In June 2020, Philadelphia re-signed Peters for a $3 million, one-year deal. The new terms increased the contract’s maximum value to $8 million, with a guaranteed $4 million. In 2021, he inked a one-year contract with the Bears.

Peters then signed a one-year contract with the Cowboys in 2022, and a few months ago, he joined the practice squad of the Seattle Seahawks. This season, he has been on and off Seattle’s practice squad.

Peters has made three appearances for the Seahawks in 2023.
