Ryan Longman, Zian Flemming, or Aidomo Emakhu? Considering his choices, Millwall’s manager has two players out.

Due to injury, there aren’t many pure strikers available, so Gary Rowett will have to decide who starts up front against Preston.

After running out of bodies up front due to injury, GARY Rowett has listed his hitting options for the upcoming weekend.

Tom Bradshaw is now Millwall’s primary attacking option up front after Kevin Nisbet and Duncan Watmore both developed hamstring injuries before the international break.

But with the Lions frequently starting two forwards this season, speculation has centered on Bradshaw’s possible partner when the teams face Preston North End on Saturday.

After a few impressive cameos off the bench, particularly the most recent contest against Hull City where he came close to scoring the game-winning goal, Aidomo Emakhu has established himself as a contender.

Other players who primarily play in various positions, such Ryan Longman and Zian Flemming, are also possible candidates who could fill the vacancy in attack.

When questioned about Emakhu, 19, maybe starting his debut match for the team, Rowett responded, “I suppose if you’re a striker right now, you’ll be rubbing your hands together. We have other players we’ve mentioned before who can play there while Tom Bradshaw is away on international duty.

“Aidomo is in a terrific position, although Ryan Longman has played up there quite a bit [for former clubs]. Zian could play up there quite easily as well because we have quite a few attacking midfielders.

“He’s been having a good impact on games. People will have to wait and see when he starts a game and has an opportunity, whether it’s this weekend or another weekend. However, he is unquestionably a contender.
