Ronald Acuna Jr. pushes down on Braves long-term objective

The Atlanta Braves are preparing for another strong season, with Ronald Acuna Jr. leading the way.

With him on the roster, this team has the ability to make an extended postseason run year after year. He has previously stated that he would like to play for Atlanta indefinitely. On Friday, the star outfielder reaffirmed his comments.

Ronald Acuna Jr. stated in an interview at spring training that he wants to play for the Braves “for life,” according to Cliff Floyd of the MLB Network. If that’s the case, Atlanta will be fantastic for years to come.

A message like that will undoubtedly have Braves supporters pumped up. Acuna is an incredible stud, and he will be excellent for many years. Last season, he hit.337 with 41 home runs and 106 RBIs. He also stole 73 bases, making him an extremely valuable offensive asset. His outfield consistency is also impressive, as Acuna is one of baseball’s most well-rounded players.

So the fact that he wants to play for Atlanta for the rest of his life is the best possible outcome for the Braves. We should expect to see him perform at a high level for many years to come. In the meantime, he’s prepping for another long season of spring training and should be ready for Opening Day.

The Braves are gearing up for another playoff run and could be among the favorites to win the World Series. They will have their hands busy, though, because the Los Angeles Dodgers have the finest roster on paper. We’ll see how things play out, but the upcoming season promises to be entertaining.
