The CFL’s’most outstanding rookie’ from last season is attempting to create history by being one of only four players in the common era to be picked in the NFL without collegiate football experience.
Stiggers, listed at 6’0″ and 197 pounds, is coming off a first CFL season for the Argonauts in 2023, when he recorded 53 tackles, 3 special teams tackles, and 5 interceptions in 16 games, garnering CFL East All-Star honors in addition to his most outstanding rookie award.
He drew impressive reviews at February’s East-West Shrine Bowl game.

Started at right corner, played 23 defensive snaps, was targeted on the first pass, notched a PBU, and no QB ever looked his way again. 18 snaps were in the 1st quarter, one was in the 3rd quarter, and four were in the 4th. 1/5 pic.twitter.com/mFCLb92dm3— Ben Grant (@Ben__Grant) February 2, 2024
While he was not invited to this year’s NFL Combine, Stiggers achieved remarkable measurables at his mid-March Pro Day and has an unofficial RAS of 9.31 out of a possible 10.0:

Make no mistake, Stiggers isn’t just a ‘feel good tale’ from our northern neighbors, but a serious NFL cornerback candidate in this year’s draft.
The story behind Qwan'tez Stiggers is fascinating.
Stiggers was attending an HBCU in 2020 when his father passed away. He dropped out to the depression he was facing.
His mother empowered him to get back into football. Went from the Fan Controlled League to the CFL.

Qwan'tez Stiggers. He's talented. He's well-built with decent length and speed but is instinctive and confident. He's a legit NFL-caliber prospect. and I see him middle rounds https://t.co/S1Z9WSsTTs
