Philbin has extensive NFL experience, having served as offensive line coach for the Dallas Cowboys, offensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers, and head coach for the Miami Dolphins for four seasons.
In Columbus, Philbin assisted Justin Frye with the Buckeyes’ offensive line, lending an experienced voice to the coaching staff.
Ohio State has two senior analysts on its coaching staff for 2024: Todd Fitch, who is in his fourth year with the offense, and Tony Johnson, a former Penn State wide receiver and son of defensive line coach Larry Johnson, who joined earlier this month.
