Raiders face elite wide receivers in 2024-25 NFL regular season

The Las Vegas Raiders will be tested during the 2024-25 NFL season when they face some of the top wide receivers in the league.

In a recent Pro Football Focus post, the website identified the top-rated wide receivers for the 2023-24 NFL regular season. The Raiders will face nine wide outs with high offensive marks, beginning with Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill. Hill is the highest-graded wide receiver, with a PFF rating of 93.3.

He ended the 2023-24 NFL regular season with 119 receptions, 1,799 yards, and 13 touchdowns. Along with Hill, the Raiders will face Jalen Waddle, who has the seventh highest Pro Football Focus grade. Waddle earned a PFF grade of 90.3 and concluded the 2023-24 regular season with 72 catches, 1,014, and four touchdowns.

Puka Nacua of the Los Angeles Rams follows, with the eighth-highest Pro Football Focus grade. Nacua obtained a PFF grade of 90.2. Nacua ended his debut season with the Rams in 2023-24 with 105 receptions for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns.

Los Angeles Chargers Keenan Allen is another top-tier wide receiver the Silver and Black will face next season. Allen finished with the 11th highest PFF grade (86.3). He finished the season with 108 receptions, 1,243 yards, and seven touchdowns.

The next player is Ja’Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals. Chase finished with the 13th highest PFF grade (85.3). He finished the season with 100 receptions, 1,216 yards, and seven touchdowns.

The Raiders will also have to face another division rival in Kansas City Chiefs Rashee Rice, who is listed as having the 14th highest PFF grade with a PFF grade of 84.9. In his rookie season with the Chiefs, Rice ended the season with 79 receptions for 938 yards and seven touchdowns.

The next player is Chris Olave of the New Orleans Saints. Olave has the 16th highest PFF grade, at 82.5. He finished the 2023-24 regular season with 87 receptions, 1,123 yards, and five touchdowns. Continuing in the NFC South, the Raiders will face Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans.

Evans has the 17th highest PFF grade, at 81.5. He finished the 2023-24 regular season with 79 receptions, 1,255 yards, and 13 touchdowns. Finally, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper. Cooper has the 20th-best PFF grade, at 79.9. Cooper recorded 72 receptions for 1,250 yards and five touchdowns in 2023.

From February 27 to March 4, 2024, the NFL Scouting Combine will be hosted in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The NFL Draft will take place in Detroit, Michigan, on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders presently have the 13th overall pick.
