Despite the Irish defender’s admission that he doesn’t view himself as a club legend, Everton hero Kevin Campbell assured Coleman that he is one.

Coleman stated he doesn’t regard himself as a club legend because he hasn’t won a trophy during his time at Goodison Park in an interview with BBC Sport discussing his Toffees career.

To ensure his place in Everton legend, Campbell, a fan favorite of the team, responded on his own Twitter account on October 12 with a five-word tweet to the captain.

He added the phrase “Well you are Seamus Coleman” along with the emojis for a football, a prayer face, and a blue heart.

Coleman is rightfully considered a club legend, and there is not a single Everton supporter in existence who disagrees with that statement.

Since joining from Sligo Rovers for just £60,000, Coleman has made over 400 games in the illustrious blue and has developed into one of our top right-backs in club history.

In his heyday, he could have easily moved abroad and competed in the Champions League at the top level, but he was devoted to the badge and preferred to advance with us rather than anyone else.

He will always be remembered as one of the best players to play for this club, regardless of whether he goes on to win a trophy in his remaining years of the game. He will also be remembered for everything he has accomplished.

He is unquestionably an Everton great, but his standards are so high that he cannot see it for himself, and this club most likely let him down during his career.
