Pundit reacts to the continuing Leicester City transfer issue
Leicester City are interested in signing Inter Milan midfielder Stefano Sensi, according to a number of news outlets.
Many outsiders have expressed surprise at this development, as the 28-year-old was initially loaned to the Italian giants in 2019, but exercised a €25 million buyout clause in his contract to make his San Siro move permanent from Serie A rivals Sassuolo.

The signing of Harry Winks last summer demonstrated that some of Leicester’s transfer moves wouldn’t look out of place in the Premier League.

The latest on Stefano Sensi’s potential move
Sensi’s move to the King Power Stadium appears to be moving in the right direction for the Foxes, with the fee rumored to be as low as €2 million, according to Gazzetto Della Sport via Sport Witness.
The move poses a new challenge for the midfielder, who has yet to pursue a permanent move outside of his native Italy in his career, with the sole exception being a two-year loan spell with Victor San Marino between 2013 and 2015, while still under contract with Cesena.
The inclusion will also be much-needed, as despite Leicester’s commanding top-of-the-table position, the Foxes’ midfield general Wilfried NdidI has suffered an injury, forcing him to withdraw from Nigeria’s AFCON squad.
