Possible Transfer Portal Objectives for Georgia Bulldogs in 2024

The transfer portal has added a fascinating element to the college football offseason for the previous few seasons.

Many teams have benefited from an infusion of players joining new teams to enhance their rosters and fill gaps, but this has also caused concern for other fan bases.

Because prominent Bulldog players use the transfer site each year to leave the team, the Georgia Bulldogs have grown rather accustomed to it. The Bulldogs have demonstrated that they are more than happy to add players via the portal when they see fit, despite the fact that they nearly always have more exits than acquisitions. The following is a list of players who the Dawgs will most likely be targeting in the 2024 summer.

TREVOR ETIENNE

The Bulldogs will probably try to sign the former Florida Gator in order to strengthen their running back group. Travis Etienne is the brother of current NFL running back Travis Etienne. Etienne will also give a position that was severely hampered by injuries early in the 2023 campaign much-needed depth.

XZAVIER MCLEOD

The Dawgs will also try to bolster their roster with McLeod, another SEC player. The 6-foot-5 former Gamecock from South Carolina would be a great addition to the Bulldogs’ interior defensive line, which is expected to lose a lot of players to the draft this offseason.

LONDON HUMPHREYS

Many Bulldog fans will recall London Humphreys from this season’s game versus Vanderbilt. On the first drive, the 6-foot-3 wideout snagged a 49-yard touchdown pass to put the Commodores up 7-0. His speed and height would be an asset to the Bulldogs’ wide receiver corps.

WALTER NOLEN

Nolen, a part of Texas A&M’s historic 2022 recruiting class, would be an excellent addition to the Bulldogs’ interior defensive line given his 5-star skillset, size, and speed.

LT OVERTON

Another 2022 defensive lineman for the Aggies. Overton, a native of Alpharetta, Georgia, could be a monster addition to the Bulldogs’ defensive line and will almost certainly be a day-one player if he decides to join.
