Player sent a wonderful message to his former Birmingham City teammate saying, “I wish him all the best.”

Dion Sanderson, a former loanee from Sunderland, has a message for his former teammate Jobe Bellingham of Birmingham City.

Dion Sanderson, a former Sunderland loanee, sent best wishes to his old Birmingham City teammate Jobe Bellingham.

Tony Mowbray, the head coach of the Black Cats, selected Jobe to play against Birmingham City for the first time since his summer departure, and Sanderson got off to a start for the Blues against his former team at the Stadium of Light.

Before Birmingham City responded, Jobe gave Sunderland the lead. Later in the game, Sanderson scored an own goal, and Adil Aouchiche’s strike put the score 3-1 against the Wearsiders.

After the game, Sanderson remarked, “It was good to see Jobe.” I’m glad he’s here and I hope the best for him. To be honest, I didn’t think he would score, but good for him.

“He made the decision to play football for the first team on his own,” the source said. He is discovering that he is more than capable of that at this point. Best wishes for him.
