Philadelphia Eagles To Part Ways With Megastar in Massive Offer

In 2023, the Philadelphia Eagles experienced one of the most significant collapses in league history.

Despite starting the season with 10 victories and only one defeat, the club failed to win their division and lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round of the playoffs. With many issues surrounding the organization this summer, one suggestion has one prominent player being sent away after receiving authorization to request a trade from the team.

Philadelphia Eagles Trade Away Star?

Haason Reddick, the Eagles’ ace edge rusher, is expected to leave the team in 2024 after being allowed to seek a trade by the organization. Reddick is in his final year of his three-year, $45 million contract, which he signed after racking up 60-plus pressures and 11-plus sacks in consecutive seasons. When it comes to contract discussions, the two sides appear to be unable to reach an agreement, leading many pundits to assume that he will play for a different team in 2024.

Haason Reddick Addresses Rumors

While the star defender has stated that he wants to stay with the Eagles, he may consider offers from other teams ready to pay him what he is looking for. Reddick was not as dominant in 2023 as he had been in previous years, with his pass-rush grade declining from 90.0 to 75.2. Despite the lower production, he remained an effective pass rusher, with over 800 snaps and double-digit sacks in four consecutive seasons.

Houston Texans On Reddick’s Radar?

Teams looking for a linebacker with pressure-generating abilities may contact the organization this offseason to negotiate a possible trade. The Houston Texans might benefit from Reddick, especially if they are unable to retain standout linebacker Jonathan Greenard through free agency. With Reddick opposing Will Anderson Jr., the Texans defense hopes to build on their success.

Do you believe Reddick will seek a trade if an agreement is not made with the Eagles soon, or will he be ready to accept lower pay to stay with the team?
