Pete Carroll Gives Clear Prediction on Seahawks Season

Pete Carroll, the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, made a daring statement about how the squad will wrap up the campaign.

Carroll believes the Seahawks will “knock a couple of them off” in reference to the best teams still on the schedule after the team’s heartbreaking defeat to the Dallas Cowboys. Carroll’s statement will undoubtedly result in a lot of Seahawks news, considering their current three-game losing streak.

Carroll stated, “There’s no concession in losing, but we will definitely build on this,” at a press conference on November 30, 2023. “Because of the way it was done, how well it worked, how tough and physical it was, and how much we respected them.” Naturally, there are all those subjects on which we can expand. Many different things are going to occur.

“This season is not even close to being finished. The plot of this narrative is left unseen. In the upcoming weeks, we have more fantastic opportunities to play against clubs that should ultimately win this competition. And we’re going to demonstrate that we deserve to accompany them all the way to obtaining them. Take out a few of them and properly handle this situation.

Seahawks News: Seattle Still Has a Narrow Hold of the No. 7 Seed in the NFC Playoff Picture

Seattle put on a far better performance than they had in their previous matchup with Dallas, but regrettably the outcome remained the same as it has been for weeks. After losing three straight games, the Seahawks’ situation is not going to get any better in the upcoming weeks.

Seattle’s next two games are against San Francisco and Philadelphia. The good news for the Seahawks is that they are not far from the bottom of the NFC playoff standings. With victories in Week 13, the Packers, Rams, and Saints could all tie for the final place, with Seattle remaining at No. 7.

The Seahawks will probably need to win a few games against the 49ers, Eagles, and Steelers—the other three teams on their schedule who could make the playoffs. In the most of these games, if not all of them, Seattle is predicted to be the underdog.

Pete Carroll on Micah Parsons’ Game-Clinching Sack: ‘They Fooled Us’

The offensive line allowing Cowboys standout pass rusher Micah Parsons unchecked on the game’s final fourth down play was one of the main unanswered concerns following the Seahawks’ defeat. Carroll acknowledges that the play that ended in a game-ending sack took the team by surprise due of Dallas’ defensive position.

Carroll said, “They loaded it up inside and we squeezed it,” in an interview with “Brock and Salk” from Seattle Sports on December 1.”.. We should have opened up and blocked out that area with the tackle, but we didn’t accomplish it in the manner we decided to defend it, which was not the right course of action.

“… They fooled us a little bit with the look … I wish we would have blocked that with (right tackle Abraham Lucas) right there.”

Seattle’s computer forecasts, provided by Quarter4, for Week 14 against San Francisco have them down by ten points. According to the estimates, the Seahawks have a 19% chance of winning the rivalry game. On Thanksgiving Day, San Francisco defeated Seattle 31–13.
