The quarterback forgot to put his “pants” on during training camp.

He may not be the funniest person in the world, but Mahomes understands how to have fun and laugh at himself when the situation calls for it. And he knows how to turn the switch when his team requires him to be serious and make plays. During a training camp practice on Wednesday, Mahomes chose comedy, telling his teammates and coaches that “I didn’t put my pants on”.

He was technically still wearing pants. What he forgot were the actual pads that go under the pants to protect a player’s quads and knees.
Mahomes questioned whether he could get away with it for the entire session, wondering if “maybe he’ll think my quads are so big that they look like pants”. He then shouts, “I look like an idiot now!”
It wasn’t too serious, but Mahomes ended up returning to the locker room and changing his clothes.
