Panthers injury update prior to their Week 9 game against the Colts
No doubt, the Panthers will have an extra bounce in their collective steps thanks to their dramatic victory over the Texans last Sunday. But it also might hurt to step.
Carolina updated an extensive injury list, Friday, two days before kickoff against the Colts. But of everyone on the list, only three didn’t practice, Friday morning. They were linebackers Claudin Cherelus and Justin Houston along with receiver Laviska Shenault. The Panthers designated all three as out.
In addition, receiver DJ Chark, who was limited by an elbow injury for two practices, is questionable. But he was back at practice the past two days after dealing with an elbow injury. So is cornerback Donte Jackson (quad). The Panthers list safety Vonn Bell (quad) as doubtful. He’s missed the past two games.
Edge rusher Brian Burns was a full participant, Friday. He’s been dealing with an elbow problem.
