Packers elevate for Sunday’s game

The Packers bolstered their cornerback corps before of Sunday’s matchup in Dallas.

David Long Jr. was promoted from the practice squad. He will return after the game.

Long played in three regular-season games for the Packers this season before being demoted to the practice squad this week. He also appeared in eight Raiders games and three Panthers games. Across all three trips, he recorded 19 tackles and a pass defense.

Cornerback Jaire Alexander was labeled as questionable for the Packers’ game against the Cowboys. Alexander sprained his ankle during one of this week’s practice sessions after a teammate stepped on him.
