Pablo Fornals delivers one-word message as West Ham United’s transfer report announced

Pablo Fornals released a one-word remark following West Ham’s announcement that Angelo Ogbonna will depart the club.

On Wednesday (5 June), the club’s official website stated that Ogbonna would leave the London Stadium when his contract expired on June 30.

West Ham United’s official Instagram account aired a video on June 5 honoring the defender for his service with the club.

Fornals, Ogbonna’s old teammate, wrote “Fratteloneeeee” in English, which translates as “big brother” among the many comments.

Pablo Fornals and Angelo Ogbonna will forever be linked to West Ham United

Many players come and depart from football clubs around the world.

There will be many forgotten players that have played for the Hammers.

However, Ogbonna and Fornals will forever be linked to the London Stadium.

Both were instrumental in helping the club win the UEFA Europa Conference League under David Moyes.

It was possibly the Hammers’ most memorable night of the modern period, and fans will be eternally thankful to everyone involved.

Ogbonna’s confirmed departure, together with Fornals’ accompanying message, serve as a reminder that the Moyes era has officially ended.

All eyes are now on Julen Lopetegui.

The Spaniard hopes to rebuild a team capable of competing in Europe again.

That means bringing in fresh players who share Lopetegui’s vision.

But, no matter what happens in East London, Ogbonna will be remembered.
