Kaizer Chiefs are ready to make some major signings under Nasreddine Nabi, with Bafana Bafana, Orlando Pirates, and Mamelodi Sundowns players all linked.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi is ready to confirm the signing of an Orlando Pirates player.

CHIEFS SET TO SIGN EX-PIRATES MAN

Bongani Sam, a former Pirates player, is scheduled to be unveiled as one of the Chiefs’ newest acquisitions. Initially, he joined Amakhosi in Turkey for their pre-season trip. Surprisingly, he was not listed as one of the new signings confirmed by Chiefs under Nabi.

However, this is most likely owing to Sam’s injury. In fact, he was sent home while on tour.

ALREADY SIGNED, SET TO BE ANNOUNCED OR U-TURN FROM NABI?

Fans can still anticipate the ex-Bucs player to join Amakhosi and be confirmed once he recovers. That is, unless Nabi makes a stunning reversal against the former Pirates player.

According to FarPost, Sam has already signed with the Chiefs.

“Left-back Bongani Sam was Chiefs’ first signing after he joined them from Orlando Pirates. They then signed Rwanda’s first-choice goalkeeper, Fiacre Ntwari, from TS Galaxy. Talented left-footed defender Rushwin Dortley became their third signing,” the publication wrote.

However, as mentioned, this has not been confirmed or announced officially by Chiefs yet.

BIG-NAMES LINKED WITH AMAKHOSO

Following Nabi’s arrival, Percy Tau, Gaston Sirino, Fiston Mayele, and many other Chiefs players have been linked.

Furthermore, Tau has both good and bad news for Chiefs. In actuality, Al Ahly did not consider Amakhosi’s offer since it was too cheap. However, they are willing to let him leave for the appropriate price. Sirino has agreed to personal terms with Amakhosi. This means that if he passes his medicals, he will be Nabi’s and the Chiefs’ newest signing. Finally, Mayele remains Nabi’s aim.
